My nose in a cookbook
Food is how I show love.
It’s my love language, if you will. And on top of that, I’m a bookworm, so you see where this is going.
My original passion was in the history of cooking. I switched between antique cookbooks and the pages of historical fiction. I’ve read and re-read Ken Follett’s description of a man eating an onion probably 50 times. IYKYK.
These days I am more into newer recipes and trends, learning about nourishment and listening to what my body needs. But every once in a while, while scouring the used bookstores, I find a treasure I can’t put down.
