Review:

With a slight air of British self-deprecation, this beauty by Matt Tebbutt is a lovely addition to any cookbook collection. This book is about generosity; sharing our love of food with family and friends. Portions are gracious as Matt leads us from wild Friday Night meals like Dim Sum Prawn Dumplings, into Saturday breakfast, lunch and dinner. Sundays are saved for late lunches, with proteins like goose, beef and lamb.

This is one of those gorgeous books that is easily thrown on a table and made decorative, but inside it is an inspiring take on food culture and is inspired by global cuisine. From Nasi Lemak to Sting Ray to Biltong.

My only critique is that I am over Crudite “recipes” landing in my cookbooks. You didn’t cook a darn thing there, and your anchovy dip is delicious but just that - a dip.

Auntie still says “Good job, Matt!” I love your book.
